Tiger Aircraft flies again with True Flight Aerospace

Tiger Aircraft has landed in Valdosta, where new owners True Flight Aerospace will locate a corporate headquarters and manufacturing facility. C-17 Globemaster III celebrates 16 years of flight

At 16 years young, the Boeing C-17 Globemaster III is the newest and most versatile aircraft in the mobility fleet. And, according to those who fly it, it is the best the Air Force has seen in its 60 years. “There’s no doubt in my mind I fly the best transport aircraft ever,” said Major Wayne Manuel, director of operations for the 817th Airlift Squadron’s Detachment 1. The C-17 flew its maiden flight on Sept. 15, 1991. According to a Boeing Web site, it has broken 33 world records and won numerous awards since that maiden flight.

SportairUSA will preview a cabin model of the TL 3000 Sirius at EAA AirVenture 2007. The Sirius, a high-wing SLSA manufactured by TL-Ultralight in the Czech Republic, will be constructed of the same carbon fiber composite materials as the StingSport and powered by the Rotax 912 engine series. With its generous, 48” cabin, clean lines and room for golf clubs in the back, the Sirius made a very favorable impression in Europe when it was shown at AERO Friedrichshafen earlier this year.

Epic’s New Victory Jet Flies!

A mere six and a half months (202 days, 28 weeks) after design work began on a clean sheet of paper, the Epic Victory Jet made its maiden flight today from Redmond, Oregon. The milestone keeps the Victory on track for its world debut at AirVenture in Oshkosh, Wisconsin later this month.
